The Song:

In Universal Audio’s latest Apollo Artist Session, multi-award winning producer/engineer, Fab Dupont, captured a live performance of Monsieur Periné's hit single "Encato Tropical" - The track that helped garner the group a 2018 Latin Grammy Nomination.

Using an Apollo x8p, Apollo Twin, and a host of UAD plug-ins Fab and engineer, Daniel Sanint, tracked the entire song live, from a gorgeous balcony overlooking the Carribean sea.

Now it’s your turn to sit in Fab’s chair and mix this intimate, live version of “Encanto Tropical” for a chance to win one of three prize packages from Universal Audio.

How To Win:

The pureMix team will pick 3 winners at random from all eligible entries. Your mix will act as your raffle ticket. This contest is open to all residents of the USA, Canada, and the EU. 

Here are a couple of sensible suggestions to carve your way to be the potential winning mixer:

• Upload your mix before 11:59pm EST July 28th, 2019
• Make sure you send in the right song (Don't laugh, it happens quite a bit)
• Don't send in Fab's original mix hoping that we won't notice (Don't laugh, it happens quite a bit)
• Make sure the vocal/drums/bass/guitars are not muted in your mix. (We think the production was quite nice and would love to hear all of it.)
• Don't change the tempo/key/arrangement. This is a MIXING challenge.
