Mixing Contest: Colt Silvers
Fab Dupont's upcoming Inside The Mix tutorial features the indie rock band Colt Silvers song "2 Hearts". But before seeing how Fab crafted his mix, we want to hear how you mix it!
This is one of our most difficult mixing contest yet, there are over 70 tracks inside this session with multiple layers of drums, bass, guitars, synths, and vocals.
Remember this is a mixing contest, you should use only the tracks provided as the source material (no dance remixes please). You may re-amp, sample replace, edit, mute, parallel process, whatever it takes to achieve a clean and powerful mix that keeps the listener engaged and adds to the band's dynamic production.
