Creating space with reverbs

Of all the tutorials to be found here at Puremix, this is the one that I have found to be most useful. Actually I have found it to be extraordinarily useful. I have had a room sound in my head for many years. As a 100% in the box producer forever, I have never been able to get it. With the plugins Fab uses, I got closer than I had before, but was still outside. Then, having flashed on Fab's comment that other people like Lexicons, I like plates, I pulled out the Lexicons that I have collected and started fooling. I have never got on with a Lexicon, and seemingly never will, but finally I remembered that I also had an SP2016 that I hardly ever opened. An hour later, I had my room A week or so later, I realized that the room that I was hearing was the room in which I learned the piano as a kid. It was pretty big, and pretty high with wood walls and upholstered furniture spread all over the place. That template is now the first thing that I open when I have some writing to get done. I fire up my big ass Baldwin upright emulation and good things start happening pretty quick. It's got me fired up to write. Thanks Fab, nicely done

I am new to this, but I downloaded the files and made my own reverb sends as per the video and my mind is blown (without buying anything new). I used to send things to a single reverb send and expect it to just sort everything out. Now I know why my mixes have no depth or height. I am very happy as I never knew how to achieve this with my mixes. Thank you.

This one really opened my eyes! I always thought I know reverbs, boy was I wrong. It sounds silly but I could apply it immediately to my mix within 5 minutes. Now I understand how to create natural sounding spaces, Thanks a lot!
